I remember reading awhile back (in the old forum) about problems with the small tank above the water heater. The poster recommended a local plumber that replaced the faulty tank. Does anyone remember the details (or have a reliable plumber to recommend)? One of my neighbors is having the same issue.

Are you referring to the Expansion Tank...small tank that sits at top of water heater. My had a hole in it last year and I got Ben Franklin Plumbing to fix it.

I just had to replace mine a few months ago as well. it cost me about 180 bucks after replacing the tank, a release valve and labor.
