All Residents of the McKay’s Mill Community:

We hope everyone is staying safe and warm and we are glad to hear most of you are with power.  We know these conditions are stressful, and we appreciate everyone’s patience as we work through storm-related issues across the community. If you need to report a tree-related issue, please email us directly at Kbowman@cmacommunities.com   Email is the best way for us to track and manage reports efficiently. If you have already contacted us, there is no need to re-report unless conditions change. All tree-related items are being logged and prioritized based on overall conditions and access. Please note that reports involving trees that may break or could fall are given highest priority as needed and will be inspected as quickly as possible. If you are able, photos are helpful for documentation; however, please do not put yourself at risk to take a photo.
A few important reminders:

Any portion of a tree (this includes common area or your neighbors’ trees) hanging over or located within a homeowner’s property line is the responsibility of the homeowner.

Homeowner property damage can be reported directly to your homeowner’s insurance carrier, including damage from any neighboring tree that has fallen into your property.

If a tree issue is affecting a City-maintained street, please contact the City Streets Department directly. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we work through these storm impacts. We appreciate the community’s patience and will continue addressing issues as conditions and resources allow.

The Master and Single Family Boards would like to thank local City representatives, Alderman Beverly Burger for their assistance with these matters.

On Behalf of the Mckay’s Mill Master and Single Family Board of Directors
Stay safe and warm
