McKay’s Mill Homeowners: The below letter was mailed to all homeowners along with a copy of the amended rules and regulations, in the same package as the proposed 2022 budget.

Dear Homeowners:
The intent of the Association is to provide rules and regulations, which when adhered to, will create a tranquil environment in which to live, maintain our beautiful surroundings and amenities, enhance our property values and perpetuate the lifestyle envisioned when we bought our homes, all with a minimum of inconvenience to our neighbors.
Article II, Section 2.44 and Article V, Sections 5.14 and 5.15 of the Declaration of Covenants, Codes and Restrictions for McKay’s Mill Master Association provides the Board of Directors with the legal authority to adopt and amend Rules and Regulations.
A copy of the newly adopted and amended Association’s Rules and Regulations, based on the Covenant, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&R’s), are attached with this letter, and were formally approved on August 17, 2021, and October 5, 2021, with an effective date of October 28, 2021. Commencement of enforcement of these attached Rules and Regulations will begin on June 1, 2022. While the rules went into effect 10/28/21, there will be seven months of time before enforcement will begin, allowing owners ample time to make the changes required to come into compliance. You are respectfully requested to familiarize yourself with these Rules & Regulations and govern yourselves accordingly, as monetary fines for non-compliance may apply.
Homeowners, who have tenants occupying their homes within our community, are hereby notified that it is your responsibility to ensure that these tenants are aware of and must abide by these Rules & Regulations, as well as the Development Guidelines.
Your Board of Directors understands and appreciates that as our community continues to grow, things may change, and this document may again come under review. At the present time these are the governing documents for all residents of McKay’s Mill Master Homeowners Association.
